Accessory Belt Too Short

Installing a vortech s trim has anyone run into the stock accesory belt being too short. It says to use the factory belt but mine is about 1 1/2 to 2" short. Have I done somthing wrong? I have followed the instructions carefully.

Have you tried to stretch the belt? Put it under your foot and pull up. It might give you the extra room that you need....

Just a thought because I haven't ever delt with a S/C.

Simple solution.............went down to my local auto parts store and bought a longer belt. No sense wondering why the stocker woudn't fit, the new one works great !
