I have basically a stock 2003 Mustang GT. Only peroformance things I have are 40 series delta flows and K&N FIPK. I am eventually wanting to get a kenne bell 1.7L. I am now trying to get stuff for the car that can be used with the supercharer. Kenne bell sells the accufab 75mm with their kits but for too much. I was wondering if putting the 75mm on would effect my car negatively in anyway? Would it fit with the K&N FIPK that I got now? I know putting to big of one on can actually hurt you or thats what ive heard. Any advice would be appreciated. THANKS

I don't think it'll hurt you but you won't gain anything by going with the 75 over the 70.. I researched it alot before I got mine and I don't remember ever seeing any proof that a 75mm would cause a negative effect over a 70mm, you just don't gain HP between the two. But you don't care about that because you want it to ready to go when you get that KB. It should work fine with your FIPK, you may need to use something to help slide it over the TB (i used some soap)

lol I didn't notice anything except a crazy ass idle and then my TPS broke the next day. I also installed with a plenum. I only noticed SOTP gains after installing my exhaust, and then for the tune, and then the gears.. didn't notice any SOTP gains after any other mods though i'm sure they did something.. my ass must be numb :D

Look at things like headers, mid-pipe, and suspension before a throttle body. Imo these things are far more important than a throttle body.

I agree w/ this but none of these are comparable in price to the TB. I would most likely get rid of the stock downtubes first. That must be one of the most restrictive pieces on the car.

He should save his money and buy something that will really benefit him. I don't know how i forgot to add gears to that list.
