well to be honest im not sure if it was the IAC or the EGR. its NOT the one that looks like a little flying saucer. its the other little housing piece. in any case no bolts were supplied in my kit, therefore i used the factory ford bolts which i realized now were too long, hence they broke off in the plenum when tightened. anyways a little ghetto machine work and i am back to stage 1.

the rusty piece with the "flying saucer" is the EGR...the other odd shaped piece with the little black knob is the IAC...the kit should have 2 new IAC bolts...sorry man, mistakes happen...i have gotten kits with parts missing several times

yea i just got off the phone with accufab and they said the same thing. in any case i am waiting for a call back from them for my other problem: not only did i break the bolt in the plenum, I also wedged it in that mofo so deep that the metal is pushing through on the inside of the plenum!!!!! do you think that could cause a vaccuum leak even with a tightened bolt blocking the air from leaking??? my problems never end
