I just installed a 75mm accufab TB and plenum. I have hanging rpm's bad. If I get a custom tune will that fix the problem????

it should because that's what I did, though my tps broke on the dyno so we believed it was going bad to begin with so that probably contributed to mine hanging so badly.

IMO you should get a tune regardless. I think thats what is helping to lean me out. I have been latly (after the plenum install it seems) hearing this super bad raspyish sound coming out my exhaust ONLY at WOT and ONLY around 4K(makes the exhaust sound like CRAP: re CRAP). It does it with the stock tune, and with either tune with my SCT. BUT when I went to baytown houston, i noticed it did not make this noise(and also when it was on the dyno, it didnt do it. sound = ....must have been the light load it put on the engine)...it was also COLD. It started this summerish, again around the plenum time. I think its so lean that the car is running VERY hot in the combustion chamber and having detination. So please atleast get it checked.

I hear a sound coming from my exhaust at WOT but only in 5th gear when im going 60 and the rpms are at less than 2k and i stomp on the gas.. sounds weird, kinda like water splashing or something, i really dunno how to describe it. I never do that though i just downshift so i dunno

The damn egr was not sealed tight enough against the plenum. I had problems with the screws going in right I bought new screws and put a few washers around the bolt to shorten the screws. The damn screws did not want to go in all the way. Problem seems to be fixed. I have not driven the car yet but it idles normal now.
