Are the ect sensor and the act sensor the same thing?

The ACT doesn't have as much thermal mass, so that it can keep up with the dynamic conditions of the intake runner temps.

The ECT can have more thermal mass, as coolant temps don't usually change rapidly.


Other than that they have the same output scaling...
