I'm building in box to house cell in my 67 Prostreet car and want to reclaim some trunk space. I want to tie into the stock fuel fill. Anyone done this and what issues will I have? I'm wondering if vented gas cap will be an issue.

probably easier to have a cell made that would work and put the filler below where the neck would be.. easy then..

my cell was custom, sits below the trunk floor..

If you tie into a stock fuel fill you will defeat the purpose of the fuel cell in the event of a roll over. If going this route you will need some type of roll over valve in the fill hose, aka NASCAR and others.

I simply open the trunk on mine and fill 'er up!
