I had an idea and i was wondering what any of you thought of it. I am aware that in 99+ vehicles that you must use a chip to adjust the speedo for a different rear end gear. Now with that said, I found a company that makes custom gauge faces http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8003583581&ssPageName=MERC_VIC_ReBay_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores_IT
Now if i was to put on a 200mph guage face, could i make it read accurately by purchasing a specific speedo gear to compensate the bump from 150 to 200. If this sounds complicated then please feel free to ask any questions.

Can't it be recalibrated somehow? I know it's not mechanical but there's got to be a way Ford can recalibrate it or something.

I remember a simular conversation with someone wanting to change their GT's display to a Mach 1s. If I remember right Ford can reprogram the chip to accomidate the gauge. You might want to e-mail the seller and ask him how to do it.
