Any alarm guys on here??

My 97 Cobra has keyless entry but no factory alarm so it is already has a transmitter and receiver.

Is there a factory module that just plugs in to give me alarm capabilities??

Is there an aftermarket alarm that uses the door lock signal to arm & disarm instead of having to use its transmitters??

It can be done quite easy.

Thanks but what am I looking for. I installed a few alarms but not sure what I am looking for for my current situation.

P.S. Is that your 70 Challenger? I sold a curious yellow 71 440 Cuda over the winter to embark on other projects. One is a F.A.S.T. Duster and I was going to find a 72-74 challenger project for the street but decided on a turn key Cobra.

Honestly you should just get a new alarm for your car
and have it installed or install it yourself because the
stock alarm and keyless entry sucks. The Viper alarms
are the best from what I hear.Yes,in my avatar is a 1970
Challenger 440 pather pink and it is my dads friends car.
Only one of three in pather pink in the world and that car
is priceless.

Aftermarket car alarms are a total waste of money.

PATS is all you need.

Yeah, that will really alert him when someone has broken his window and is stealing the stereo.................... NOT

Aftermarket alarms are great at keeping honest guys honest, and if a thief happens to be going through a parking lot, odds are he will pick a car without an alarm over one with.
