Hey guys. I have been searching and thinking and searching and thinking for sooooooo long now. I have finally have my mind set on bassani catted x (because of emissions). I was reading on here that bassani catted x sometimes throws a code because the cats they use arent that great. Is that true? Also can you guys give me some feedback on the bassani catted x please, I would be running it with stock headers and borla stinger cat-back.

I got no codes. However, the cats that Bassani sent me were different looking from the cats they advertised. Maybe they changed them to better ones.

I installed the catted X (SS) from Bassani 4 days ago and I love them. I have welded in Spintechs though (need to get the cat back from Bassani still). I havent had any codes popup.They did changed the cats. I read somewhere that they had problems with the older cats(throwing error codes) and have a new and improved cat converters. I did run into 1 problem on my install, the sensors after the cats did not reach(2 sensors before cats and 2 after cats) but i fixed this quickly by splicing the wires to make them longer. I think this problem only applies to the 04 stangs though. Hope this helps

cool guys. I have been kind of leaning towards magnaflow tru-X pipe. I will be making my decision soon. what do you think of magnaflows mid pipe?

Magnaflow stuff is quality stuff. Bassani, Magnaflow, and SLP have some of the highest quality products on the market. You'll be happy with either Bassani or Magnaflow.

well, i have the multi piece one with bolt in cats, the newer cats are awesome, much better than the older ones. it should be loud enough, it sounds very good. if not, bolt in the catless pipes lol. i am very happy with mine. i dont think you would be dissapointed.
