I know there is a post already about this but I'm wondering if there is any way of getting any of the prominent mustang mags to run any article at all on the issues surrounding these troubled trannys and the response that we get from the dealerships? I think that might give ford a decent kick in the @$$.

I get "Mustang 5.0" and have never seen anything but positive articles about the Tremec 3650 (I think they're tight with Ford). Unfortunately, I experience the same problems on my Pony going 1st to 2nd that everyone else seems to have... However, you have the right idea to get Ford to do something.

Ford will never do anything about the transmission problems. It's been almost 2 years now and they haven't budged. I wouldn't count on it. Just my .02 cents.

Just drain your tranny and refill it with 3.2 liters of havoline atf and be done with it

The Mustang mags wouldn't do that cuz they get paid by Ford too much money to post good stuff. I had the problem in my 02 GT with only 20000 miles on it. I had them change the trans. fluid to I believe Mercon 5 as so the TSB I believe said. Then I installed a Steeda Tri-Ax and now it is $#@*ing awesome. No problems here and am very happy.

I've just learned to deal with the tranny. It's only really bad in cold weather anyway...If you lived in a climate that is always cold(near freezing) I definitely can see the reason to make a fuss about it.
