Adj. Pressure Reg.??

Installed FRPP 190 pump on stock '89 (exhaust only mod) & bought an Aeromotive adj reg. Removed old reg & appears the vac nozzle on the Aeromotive unit will contact w/ the EGR when I go to put it on?? Anyone have issues w/ this :shrug:

Also bought a 24" length of 1/4" FI hose to run from the new reg over to a pressure gauge. Will this give me an accurate reading (using hose instead of line and the length)?

Plus, the paperwork on Aeromotive unit stated most OE regs are set to 43psi w/o vac line attached ..... they recommended setting theirs at 48?? I thought stock engine builds w/ 19# it was best to set around 40psi :shrug:

Also bought a BBK reg in case I run into problems. Appears to have a smaller body & the vacuum nozzle is offset from the 1/8" npt port. Will my gauge thread right onto the side of the BBK unit & clear the EGR etc??
