Ok, I want to get some lower control arms because I will be taking apart the rear suspension to refreshen it (isolators, and maybe new Saleen springs if they are weak. I will take them to a machine shop to have them tested for spring rates). I was looking at these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1979...cmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33583QQitemZ8039056180 . I don't wany poly bushings, as I know they bind. I like the adjustable part, but what do I adjust them to? I will probably leave them the stock length. I figure you can change pinion angle with these like you can with adjustable uppers.... Tell me what you think of these arms.

Nick

I have a set of UPR adjustable lowers and they seem to be basically the same. I set the arms to stock length and had some wheel hop at the track. Readjusted them longer than stock and it went away. I would say that if I could do it over again I would pick the arms that can be adjusted on the car. A package of lowers and uppers designed to work together would be my pick.

Sorry to thread jack but has anyone seen those tubular granitelli uppers and lowers on ebay with poly bushings for like 149$ for the set. This seems really cheap but they dont look too bad. How would this package be in terms of performace/quality? also if i were to get a better name brand i would only be able to pick up either uppers or lowers, which should i get? the lowers? thanks for the help.

You are thinking a bout weight jacker type LCAs. The type PoopDawg is talking about, help you center the differential after you have adjusted the pinion angle.

So do you guys like these arms? Got QA1 ends, which are top quality. Any ideas?

For the money they will do. I will say I would pick a brand that has been around with a well known track record of quality and fitment. My UPR lowers are not what I would say the best but they do the job. Its your call.
