hey guys,

when do you need a different length pivot ball. I have a t5 w/king cobra clutch and stock bell and had to replace the pivot ball. The one I got from summit is .5" shorter than stock.

Advice?

If that .5 you are talking about is half an inch, i would not use it.
Changes the leverage on the clutch fork.

When i did my TKO, the promotion guy wanted me to put in a washer he sent that was about 1/8 thick to extend the ball, so if 1/8 changes things enough to actually warrant a change, i'll assume that 1/2 an inch is going to make a big difference.

ok, thanks. Yes I went out and mocked it up and it brought the fork back a ton! I was thinking about cutting both pivot balls off and welding the new ball on the old shaft. haha I'm gettting short on time.
