OK, so I have these Tokiko Illumina 5 way adjustable struts and shocks on the LX. They are really for road racing, but can be used to help at the drag strip if set right, too. These are in conjunction with Steeda Sport Springs.
Anyway, I have read and heard that the best way to launch these things is to set the fronts to 1 (that being the lowest, softest setting, and 5 being the firmest) so the front will pick up easier, and the rears to 5, to control rebound and binding of the axle.
I know that each car is going to different, but I figure if you guys can gimme any clues, then I'll have a starting point. I only had a chance to run the car once this year, and at the above settings, with about 13psi in the BFG DR's, the car only went a 1.92 60'. I know practice makes perfect and all, just looking for pointers.
I have more done to the suspension too, if you wanna know I can post it.
SO:
What should the settings be on the shocks and struts?
Should I set the rears different from each other? As in do the right rear at 4 and the left at 5, or vise versa?
What do you guys think?
