I have the strange struts waiting to go in my car pretty soon. I am going to keep my sway bar on for whenever I am driving on the street, then I will pull it off when I go to the track. It comes off pretty easy and I don't seem to go to the track more than once a month, so it isn't that big of a deal to me.
THe sway bar will prevent body roll and stuff...however it does nothing when both wheels have the same motion (ie. when the front end rises when you launch your car). So I would leave the sway bar on for the street...and it wont really help or hurt you at the track dynamically but it may be weight you want to remove for your trip down the strip....but thats up to you.
i have the 10 ways up front and drag shocks out back. both sway bars removed. i keep the 10 ways pretty tight on the street. the car definetly floats around a little more but if you dont drive like an ass you will be fine. take it off and go for a test drive. see what you think. btw, my car is a daily driver.
