adjusted headlight switch, now CD player wont turn on!

i adjusted my headlight switch in my 86, i saw a spark, now my CD player wont turn on. I checked all the fuses, they are all good. i cant see the fuse in the back of the CD player, but what else can i check?

You really need to check the fuse on the back of the CD player, it's probably the culprit.

Sounds like you have an aftermarket cd player. Is the Illumination wire hooked up? if it is it might be the problem. I know my 05 is different but I installed a pioneer 860mp in mine and it sounded horrible. I found the reason was the Ill wire. I disconnected it and everything was fine. Check the fuse on the back of the deck and if that Ill wire is hooked up disconnect it.

i have a pioneer deck too. i cant even find the darn fuse on the back of the deck... its so tight in the fox bodies. which side of the deck is the fuse on... pass or driver?

and i have no idea if the illumination switch is hooked up.
