Adjusting shifts on C4

I read somewhere that one could adjust the screw inside the modulator to squeeze som more rpm's out of the C4 before shifting.



1. How many turns?
2. When do I know I have gone too far?

I've heard that too and have tried putting a screw driver in there. I turned and it didn't feel like there was any screw of any kind in there.

It's true, the modulators are usually adjustable. It's trail and error, though.
