i've owned previous mustangs and now i'm lookin to purchase another well i found this 89 GT m/t hard top power windows, a/c it white with red int. but the car needs alot of work the left side quarter behind the door has been hit not bad but needs to be fixed and the car needs painting all over, needs doors pins and bushings, he says it needs a synchro for 3rd gear because it grinds 3rd i was wondering what everyone on here thought about that if thats what it could be or if i might need a new gear for the trans. the int is in decent shape the drivers seat needs to be covered it has 3.73 gears it seems to run very well but the mileage hes not sure about the odometer reads 62,000 has decent tires and pony rims he was asking 2500 i got him down to 2000 and was wondering what you guys thought is that to high of a price or what thanks for any help

you may be able to just put synchros in it. But if your going to spend the money to do that and you plan on puting any power in front of it may as well go a head and make it a g spec or something along those lines. What are your plans for the car?

the car would mostly be a toy for the street and some occasional drag racing at the track, this may b a dumb question but what is a g spec? you think the car is worth the money based on the info given?
