I’m trying to install SS brake lines, but can’t remove the old ones... I heard some ideas I was going to try tomorrow, spray it down a few times with liquid wrench, heat it up with a blow torch, and cut the rubber close to the nut so I can use a socket instead of a wrench...

Do you guys have any other ideas for me?

Thanks...

All the brake lines on my 87 donor car were rusted in place bad. I got them all out with a set of vice-grips.

They are gods gift to the angry guy who just rounded the head off of his 3rd brake line in a row. Haha.

i used the vice grips an pb, had a brush to get all the lose rust an garbage out of the way. could only go a little bit at a time and then id go back an fourth an spray a lil more pb in it. worked well on my car when i swapped rears the day b4 i left for mustang week in myrtle beach. somehow i didnt break anything. there still in the car as we speak. goodluck an take your time
