I’m trying to install SS brake lines, but can’t remove the old ones... I heard some ideas I was going to try tomorrow, spray it down a few times with liquid wrench, heat it up with a blow torch, and cut the rubber close to the nut so I can use a socket instead of a wrench...

Do you guys have any other ideas for me?

Thanks...

All the brake lines on my 87 donor car were rusted in place bad. I got them all out with a set of vice-grips.

They are gods gift to the angry guy who just rounded the head off of his 3rd brake line in a row. Haha.

+1 on the vise grips! Just be careful and do not mess up the hardline. A little heat will work wonders sometimes as well, not too much though!

a few drops of brake fluid and let it sit for a few hours eats through rust. also keep working it back and forth, dont try to keep unscrewing it.
