i am thinking of geting a 89 gt hatch 5 speed ... but the guy tells me it runs rich ad theres a hole in the muffler he says all it needs is a major tune up and muffler fixed to pass smogg the link below is the page i offered him 1400 for it is that resonable and is it woth it

Like i said in the other thread, he doesn't state mileage. A major tune up is not gonna be cheap.

It's a $1000 car tops, and that's assuming clean title/carfax/etc and no rust issues. Looks like a hooptie to me. Don't bother

Just me but if I read an add that says "runs strong" and in the same ad it says "needs tune-up" id run and it does look like a pile as stated about.

To the op not to be an ass, but I typically run away from threads where the title is abbreviated and spelled with mixed caps/lowercase letters.
