Hey all, I have a '99 GT with an '03 Cobra motor swap, Art Carr C4 with a 4000 stall and trans brake, 3.0" pulley and a tune, suspension, weight reduction, etc. The car made 455/457 on a Mustang Dyno on 93 octane. I'm looking to install my AEM UEGO Wideband on the A-pillar along with my boost gauge, but the kit doesn't have instructions. Is there a bung already on the stock '03 Cobra manifolds I can tie into? Does anyone on here have instructions or some guidance/suggestions/comments? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!!

Yeah, things aren't as hoppin' as they used to be in here.

Anyway, I don't think there's any extra bungs just sitting around unused. You'll have to weld one on unless you're not planning on using the factory O2 sensors.

If you've got the downstream O2 sensors disabled in your tune then you could use one of those locations but I don't know if it'd be as effective that far down - I'm not familiar with wideband O2 operation.

I used the downstream bung as my rear O2s were turned off...and that works just fine. Otherwise, to get it dead on balls accurate it should be a little further upstream. Any muffler shop can install the bung for you for a reasonable price...it's minimal work.

Ideally you're not supposed to install the O2 bung below the 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock position, as condensation can form in the exhaust pipe and permanently damage the sensor. And it should go just before the pipe turns from vertical to horizontal - before the turn. But again, I ran mine (and many others do the same) using an existing bung. And I was spot on at 14.7:1.
