So I’ve been on the fence about buying this hood/nose kit for a while now, I love the way it looks, I’ve seen in installed on two cars however, never in person. I called aeroform today to check on availability of the product and it is available. Here’s the thing… Can anyone tell me about this kit?!?! Can a regular body shop install it? I’ve heard about fitment issues, but I really want this thing, it’s the best looking nose (I think) for the 2005-09 on the market today….

I am open to other hood/nose kits available if anyone knows of any better ones…

If you have heard of fitment issues, then you are going to pay a lot extra to have a body shop make it look good. Usually they will have to do a lot of prep work to get poorly fitting parts to look good. The problem I see with it is that not only does the hood have to fit the fenders perfectly, the whole front of the hood has to fit perfect with that nose piece. If there is any spot that does not match up well, it is going to look like your hood is open. The looks are completely subjective, if you like it the best, then it's the best. I think I would like it better with a cowl hood or just the stock one, it would make the extended nose look cleaner. It looks busy to me, the advantage of using the stock hood is that you know it will fit perfectly, so only the nose piece would have to be adjusted. When I first saw the picture I did not like it, but looking at it more, I think it could look good with a darker car without the hood, maybe a foglight delete.

Well my car is black, and the body shop belongs to a family friend who already told me he'd give me a good deal. I'm going to order it, I'm going to put in a black billet grill with hidden foglights, I really like that blacked out look, I just ordered the 2010 smoked headlights and all the other smoked led lights around the car... It should look killer, just looking for first hand knowledge of the kit.
