Hey guys/ Girls (politically correct),

Currently installing a full aeromotive sumped system. Im using the Aeromotive pump controller. Question is were do i connect the power/pump signal wire. Aeromotive says to connect it without the relay directly to the computer. Can i use the factory pump power wire and just bypass the relay? If so were is the relay on the 95 mustang? Or is it better to run the wire straight to the computer??? I believe its pin #22?!?! Anyways any help would be appreciated!!! I want to avoid running a length of wire all the way from the trunk area to the computer if theres already a factore wire going to the same place. Thanks in advance.

I had once wired it from the truck. I believe its one of the wires that goes to the cut off switch. Consult a manual.

I took the route of running a 12ga wire through the inside of the car to power my pumps. I used a relay triggered from the "safe" side of the inerta switch as my trigger wire - red/purple wire if I recall. The 12ga wire was fused with an inline 20A fuse.

Here's a diagram, unsure if the colors are correct: http://www.mustang-tech.org/wiki/images/1/13/94-95-EEC-Pinout.gif

Whichever way you do it, be sure you tap in after the inerta switch so that you fuel pumps will shut off in an accident.
