Going to be swapping the heads soon FINALLY. Got a sweet deal on some barely used afr 165's with 1.7 rr's and stock length hardened pushrods.

I know, I know, I am going to need to check p2v. But i've never done that before and I need a complete write up on how to do it and what stuff i will need.

With that said does anyone have any clue if the 1.7's with the E cam is going to cause problems with the afr 165's bigger valves (1.94/1.60)??? Should i try to trade the 1.7's for some 1.6's? I would like to keep the 1.7's for the extra lift but i don't wanna have to take my block out and have the machine shop flycut my pistons .

With the 1.7 rocker arms and that cam you may need longer pushrods.

Rban must of gave you a good deal on those parts. Good catch! Nice parts and no more then 400miles on them.

Yeah i know i might have to get new pushrods but if so i'll sell these to help buy them . You can't even imagine what a sweet deal he gave me for all these parts really cool guy. Probably less then 200 miles on the parts too!

Thanks for the links.

Can someone tell me WHAT BRAND OR TYPE of clay to buy to check the p2v clearance?
