AFR 165 stud mount rocker question?

I have been confused on my decision whether to go with a cam or not. For simplicities sake I plan on leaving the stock cam. I have been working 6 days a week for the whole summer and then when the fall comes along I will be working and going to school full-time. I want to get my heads/intake on as soon as possible this summer. I know a cam is a few hours away when all is said and done, but I don't want to be without my car on the weekends for too long. I think that my car should run good with the heads/intake/LT's and other supporting mods minus the cam. I just can't look at my heads and intake in the box in my garage anymore.
So basically to sum it all up, lack of time.

Now I need to decide on a 1.7 stud mount rocker to make the best use of the stock cam.

Any suggestions?
I called AFR and they told me it was personal preference then they told me that I needed rockers that were a standard inline head, then he told me that I needed ones that were made for the design of the victor Jr. heads?? All this is one phone call, to say the least I am annoyed that I cannot get a certain answer and the AFR tech guy was of NO help at all.
Any light on this dark subject to make my life easier would be greatly appreciated.

Ford racing, trickflow, crane (all these 3 are made by crane) scorpion ect will work. My friend ran scorpions with his afr 165 combo and had zero issues.

Just spend the extra 2 hours and run a cheap tfs 1 cam degreed on a 108* centerline and enjoy your extra 20+ hp :D

Dan,

I apologize for the confusion, the straight answer would be any
STANDARD
rocker will work...but if you were to buy a girdle it would have to be
designed for ours or the Victor head from Edelbrock since they are
patterned
the same. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me,

You can borrow my length checker. Just make sure I get it back or i'll steal all your billet  I believe afr 165 stock shortblock combo's use appx 6.3" and obviously you need hardened.
