afr 165 valve springs

I have a set of the early pedestal mount afr 165's on my car and i believe i'm experiencing valve float. The valve springs are the standard afr springs and now have about 60k on them. I was looking at purchasing the crane 987's, and was wondering if anybody had used these? I know ed curtis has drop in spring packages, but he's tougher to get ahold of than the president, i've emailed about this twice to no avail... Any recomendations appreciated.

He takes a month to reply to emails sometimes. I got my cam from him.

Ive got AFR 165's with upgraded springs from Keith Craft Racing. I bought the heads assembled and have no way of telling what they actually are.

Theyre good for .600 lift though.

Ed Curtis offers some good springs at a pretty good price. His custom cam he ground for me is up there with high lift, the car took a beating with no problems, and ran great up until the oil pump locked up. All the parts ed sold me look good still though, I done a lot of dealings with him and will continue to do so.
