AFR 165's, TFS Stg 1 cam, pushrod length?

with 1.72 rockers, afr 165 heads, and TFFS Stg 1 cam, what pushrod length will i need? Stock?

thats something you will have to calculate yourself. buy an adjustable and work it out, just guessing will get you a prematurely worn out valvetrain.

Thanks for that tip. I am quite sure, however, that this setup has to have been done before and part details pretty common.

That line of thinking will get you in trouble.

Many varibles effect the pushrod length.

Differences in rocker design. Block tolerence are all over the place. Slight difference in head deck thickness. Rocker pad hieght differences. Stud angle difference from head to head. Lifter body hieght. Spring installed hieght differences.

All these difference will effect Push Rod length. You have gotten the most accurate information you will ever get by powershift46.

Yes def check it, if you dont know how find someone who can, its very important. It will probably be around 6.300 but check it!!!

I worked two similar customers setups..... one required 6.300" and the other 6.350". What will yours need?..... You will never know until you...... check what your specific setup needs.
