I'm buying some AFR 185cc street legal heads with 2.02 intake, I got stock pistons and Im not sure if is going to make enough valve clearance. Im putting XE274HR cam with a intake lift of .555 and a exhaust of .565.
If not can I take my pistons and make them modify the pistons for clearance or I got to buy some new ones

The pistons will need flycutting to clear that cam and those heads...

A machine shop can do it, you can do it yourself with a tool from ISKY, or you can buy new pistons. Some guys have even used a dremel.

I would suggest mocking it all up, clay the pistons and see what kind of clearance you have. It will most likey hit on the outside edges of the valve relief/eye brows.
