I am installing ARF 165s (part #1472). After getting the everything off the front of the stock motor it appears that one of the accessory holes on the front of the AFR head is going to be too big for one of the stock studs (driver side if I remember right). Is this correct or was I just looking at it wrong? Has anyone ran in to this? Car has AC and PS.

There is a threaded insert that goes in the holes, usually they come with the heads. Contact AFR and they will send you some or you may be able to find some local.

Well you already ordered them but I'll put some info down anyways...

They sell thermactor plugs which "plug" up the hole where the smog equipment goes (the same thing works for the front of you heads...you can get them at a Ford Dealership - part # F4ZZ-6E086-A or you can buy some from Summitracing - part # TFS-51400265...when you put them in the front of your heads your alternator bolt and power steering stud will screw right in perfectly...when I first seen they were to big doing my h/c/i swap...I thought I put the heads on backwards

I had to use one for the powersteering stud and the other for the big alternator bolt...
