I just got a phantom gauge and have no idea how to install it.
1) My car is carbureted and my 02 sensor dont have power. Is there a way i can make them have power so i can hook up my gauge?
2) When i hook up the guage, do i brige it from only one 02 sensor or both of them?
3) To add power to the 02 sensors is just a matter of running some hot wire coming from the battery and a graund?

Here is the gauge just in case you need to see it:

The gauge won't be real useful, esp on a carbed car.

You'd want to use switched power for the O2's, not constant (battery) power.

can you tell me the air fuel for the 2nd and 4th red green and yellow light on that meter?

a true wideband af gauge will give you a number not a light up christmas tree thingy

Just FYI, the reason its pretty useless is that it will only display a ratio of approx 14:1 to 15:1. Its only function is to inform the computer when to richen or lean the mixture in relation to the stoich ratio of 14.64:1 (meaning you have a theoretical perfect mixture, no excess air, no excess fuel). But, in the real world, that doesnt work. So at WOT, the mixture goes to a calculated 12.xx:1 or so (i forget the exact number from ford factory) using only the MAF measurement to shoot for a target with no feedback from the 02 sensors since they cannot read any richer than 14:1 or so.

A wideband sensor and guage will allow you to read much richer and leaner than that. For instance, my LC-1 reads 7.39 to 22.xx (forget exactly).

For graphs and explanations, see here Oxygen (O2) Sensor – Narrowband vs Wideband Boost Source

So, like they said, unless you want a pretty lights display, or a warning that something bad happened (probably too late anyway), toss that one and purchase a true wideband for tuning use.

Keep in mind that widebands also require a controller to function properly (to maintain the correct current and voltage drops). Usually included with the kit, so dont just purchase a sensor from JoeBlow on the corner cause he says it will work.
