Does anyone know if the AFR 185 heads work well with an E303 cam, also, will my pistons neet to be notched due to valve clearance. I have an 89 5.0GT with a 306 and E303. Can anyone suggest a better head to go with. I heard to stay away from Trickflow Twisted wedge.
no, i run twisted wedges, e cam and 1.7 rockers with no problem. The total lift comes out to like .526 using the rocker calculation. trick flow says .525 max, but i'm ok.
My friend runs the E cam with twisted wedge heads and 1.7 roller rockers. I run the trick flow stage one cam with twisted wedge heads and the TFS stage 1 cam is ever so slightly bigger than the e cam.
