Hey everyone, I am collecting all the parts for my HCI. I have the heads and intake. Im having trouble with the Valve covers though. I have Ford Racing 1.7 rr and I have heard the stock covers will not fit over them.
I have been looking at these covers http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=M6582E302R+01
They look the best to me, I just dont know about the spacer problem. I have an edelbrock performer rpm that came with a 3/8 spacer. Problem is Im using my stock hood....
I am just trying to see what people have done for covers and spacers or if they have a similar set up as me what kind of spacer they used. Thanks.

I know its not perfect but it sits flat and with measuring I should have about 1.75 inches left between the bottom of where the throttle body goes and where the valve cover would be sitting. However, I am going to be running the intake elbow. I know that it curves down, i just dont know how much.
