Thats what i thought, i just saw that it was said it was needed for head/intake bolts that run into the water jacket....when antisieze wont do anything to seal out water.

A thing or two more about the benefits of using anti seize :D

It helps keep the soft Aluminum bolt threads in good shape which is always a concern when dealing with the hard bolt threads and soft bolt hole threads. :nice:

Anytime you have different kinds of metal interacting with each other like the steel bolts and the Aluminum bolt holes ...........

You can get that white stuff that eats away at the soft Aluminum bolt hole threads. :fuss:

The white stuff can also cause the bolt to become frozen and you may get snapped bolts, material around the bolt hole eaten away, and all kinds of other bad stuff you don't wanna see happen to your new shiny, pricey heads.

BTW, same kinda thing when dealing with the timing chain cover, water pump, intake, or any other Aluminum part. :)

how about some cometic head gaskets. I hear they are the best around and there reuseable. Although I have the ford graphite gaskets and they have been good for the last two years on a 10.8 comp ratio. I think I will try cometic next time tho.

good info... i bought the big package of anti seize.....lol

I already had arp's head bolts but don't have the instructions for them anymore.... any one got an instruction sheet they would scan in......?

thanks for everything so far.... i am sure i will be asking more questions while or before i put them on...

I wouldnt waste my money on cometic. They are so expensive and it seems if u dont prep everything right, they can be a pain. Even that, the Fel-pros are tried and proven in high boost applications. And u can get 2 for half the price of ONE cometic. Thats a deal if u ask me:nice:

yeah, thats what i am thinking. I will go will fel pro 1011-2's, i want to make sure they are there.....I will be adding a 150 shot kit once the new motor goes in......

then Hopefully Hello 11's........
