afr pushrod

You'll have to check but a 6.25" usually works well on a 0 to /-.005 deck, I'd recommend using the TFS 1 pc chrome molt pushrods, you'll need the hardened rods for use with the guid plates. Just make sure you clean the pushrods really well, especially through the center before you install them. Be surprised what comes out of pushrods...

id definatly check the length the last engine i built i used one adjustable push rod and tiried different lenghths in order to get minimum sweep on the rockers when i found the size i needed i mesured the push rod and bouhgt what i needed, just make sure that if your exhaust lift is higher than you intake you will have to take an exhaust mesurement as wll as an intake and vice versa if lift is the same one measurement will do it,

Wow. Never heard that one. Learn something new every day. :SNSign:

Even high dollar customs I've pulled pieces of debris out, and have seen them completely plugged. Next time you get your hands on a new pushrod, hold it up to the light and look through it. I let them soak a little then use a small engine cleaning brush made for pushrods. I'm a bit of a neat freak though, my motors are known for how clean they are inside and out.

Thats good stuff...ive put a lot of engines together and never checked that.....any of you guys check psiton to valve clearance?im worried my lifters are gunna give a little and not give me a correct measurment....whats the best thing to do for that??
