I just got the AFS 03 cobra replica wheels. What lug nuts did you use?

I just used the ones they sold. I dont know what the specs are, but you cant use stock ones. The ones they sjold have a shoulder on them to center the wheel.

Its kind of dark now to go outside but were your stock lug nuts chrome/polished? The rims I got are chrome.

you can use your stock ones. I got a set of gorilla locks, and just some autoparts store replacements. about 20 bucks worth for the lugs and 20 for the locks =/

Ya, I got the chrome ones. DO NOT use the stock ones, they won't fit inside the wheel properly. The lugs need to have about a half inch shoulder on them to completely center the wheel. I think the lugs and lock kit were $29 or something from AFS.

I am bring this thread back, my AFS wheels (black Bullitts) have already been shipped and I forgot to purchase the lug nut kit . Can anyone tell me for sure if I can reuse the stock nuts? If not what type do I need to buy? I wrote to AFS asking for the specs, but they just suggested I purchase theirs.

EDIT: I just checked the AFS website and they recommend an Extended Tip (ET) Lug Centric nut. Can anyone just advise the size for our mustangs.

I went to a car parts store "Advance Auto Parts" and just purchased normal chrome lug nuts. They are the same ones as the dealer sells. The brand of the lug nuts is Rally and the nuts for my cobra rims were conical style even though they suggested extended tip.
Advance Auto Parts See if there is a store near you.
Rally lug nuts They should be able to tell you at the store the size of the lug nuts. If not, let me know I have the box somewhere in the basement.
