after blower install car wont run

ok I just installed my allen supercharger on my 02 GT.. and when I start it up the RPMS just drop and it stalls.. There are a few things I may have done wrong and I have questions.. first what is that little square box thing near the throttle body hat connects to the intake.. I didnt use it.. could that cause the problem.. also there is this red cord looks like a vacuum.. on the intake before it plugged in near the throttle body.. but now there isnt anything for it to plug into.. so I plugged it.. can that cause a problem.. this is not cool..

sounds like a vacuum leak to me......call allen and ask them what the deal is!!
