After Market Gauge Cluster 2001 Gt

Hello All,
I have a 2001 Gt convertable, I am attempting to install an aftermarket gauge cluster. I have it wired up but when I remove the OE gauge cluster the car doesn't start. From my research I have come to understand that the PATs system prevents the car from running without the OE gauge cluster. My question is if there is anyway of bypassing the OE gauge cluster to retain the PATs system. I have already installed an aftermarket alarm system so it's not the end of the world if I must disable PATs, but if that's the case is there anyone in Los Angeles who can assist me with the disabling of the PATs system.
Thank you in advanced.

You will have to have PATS turned off with a tune.

The OE cluster is initialized to the ECU and the PATS keys are programmed to the cluster. SO without the OE cluster, the vehicle will not recogize the key. You will need to get PATS tuned off.

Unsure if the aftermarket clusters have the ability to have PATS keys programmed to them. In the off chance that they can be, you can do this yourself with ForScan. However i doubt an aftermarket vendor would go to such lengths
