Ok, now that the holidays are almost over it's time to start getting some goodies for my new baby. I want to get the chrome replacement knobs for the a/c for starters. After some research I found several companies that make them and from the pictures they all look nice. Does anyone have any experience with these? Is there any difference in quality? Next will be the quarter window louvers and hood scoops are also on the wish list. Does anyone make custom floor matts for the 05 yet??? Sorry for all the questions, just can't wait to start dressing her up!

The A/C Knob question. I have tried the Steeda and the UPR peices. The Steeda pieces have a giant Steeda logo at the bottom which turned me off. They were so tight that I had to use pliers to get them back off. The UPR pieces were great except for the fact that the light does not shine through them so at night you cannot see what setting the knobs are on. Another problem with the UPR pieces is that there are no "stops" on the dials. they spin freely 360* (all except for the "high, med, low" know which seems to have the stops built-in. I will have to buy another set eventually since I tried to get the UPR pieces to show light by drilling the resin out. I poked through on one of them (which was the only way I could get light to shine through anyway). My problem might have been because I bought the red ones, though. With the Green light shining from underneath, there might not have been any red light wavelengths to make the knobs shine red. I dunno. As far as floor mats, let me know when you find some because it definitely needs REAR floor mats.

Thanks for the info. Those were the two companies I was looking at....maybe I need to search further. I wasn't crazy about the Steeda logo either.

I am going to give MGW a call today and see what they have to offer... if anything. Or at least find out if there is anything in the works. They are probably the best quality that I have found anywhere on dress-up items (plus they are nice folks, too). I will post back when I get off the phone with them.
