My car has been in storage since October and I will be taking it out in May. What should I do when I go get it. Should I just jump in and start it right up or is there somthing I should do first.

i would siphon all the gas out of the gas tank and replace with fresh gas, charge battery then remove coil wire and turn motor over a few times for approx 5 secs (don't overheat starter) to circulate some oil in motor. after this was done i would fire her up.
I'd put some Stabil in the gas tank to keep the gas good if you do not want to drain it. Pull the dist and prime the motor, turn the motor over 90 degrees by hand and prime it again, re-install dist and start it up. It would not hurt to pull the plugs and put a tiny bit of oil in the cylinders as well before starting.
when I put it away I filled the tank and added stabil and I am using the battery in my G/F's car.
