After years of searching for a classic mustang, a friend of my Dad's is going to sell me a 1964.5 coupe. She's a numbers matching 260 V8 2V with a C4 transmission. The real attractive thing about this car is that it was found in an old woman's garage with 3 other Mustangs and it only has 19,000 original miles on it. She needs a new paintjob and maybe some new chrome though. Should be getting her started and driven over to my place by Thanksgiving. Will get pics up ASAP.

That is a great find! I wouldn't modify anything that couldn't be undone, the rarity and the low miles make that a pretty valuable coupe. Clean it thoroughly and only replace what is needed. And post those pics!!

Foamy! "Free your mind - Free your mind..."

A completely stock 64 1/2 with 19000 miles? That's definitely something to be thankful for. Merry Christmas too. I wish that I can stumble upon something like that.

The man that I bought my 65 fastback from, had another 65 fastback, only a v6, but it only had 13,000 original miles. Everything in this car was orignial. All interior lights work, when you opened the door, the door popped open. It was truely an amazing sight especially for the price he got it for!

Well, if it had a V6, then it wasn't original. They came with I-6's.

Nice find!Good luck but if you want to mod something be sure to sell that one original then with all the money you would get you could go out and buy a classic mustang or two with a 289 and buy alll your new parts.lol.Kinda got carried away...
