Just an FYI...
I am in the market for new fenders, turn signal hood, and a trunk for my 67. I really debated between the two choices of aftermarket or original tooling until today at work I met a new client that drove up in a 67 with a recent paint job. Unfortunatly, here in Denver, we've had a wild Fall season with a few hail storms and this Mustang was hit. Amazingly the car only had hail damage on the aftermarket hood and fender - the rest of the car was not dinged. I pressed hard on the aftermarket driver's fender and then on the original passenger fender and there is really a difference in the thickness.
I have been told in the past by different vendors that aftermarket is "just as good" but just an FYI for those out there in similar situations that bottom line you do get what you pay for.
