I'm insatalling a Typhoon intake on my 94 vert, I'm close to being done and noticed that the bar that goes across the intake to the shock towers hits and was wondering if the hood is even going to fit. I'll find out for sure tommorow after work but had a few minutes ti kill before bed figured I would post.

Thx,

Jonesy

it'll fit but you will lose your strut tower brace. if you really want a strut tower brace, they have ones that clear aftermarket intakes.

The intake will clear the hood but there is a possibility that it will rub the hood liner. Mine did and all I done was take the liner out from under it and then it was fine. Well that was with a edelbrock which is basically the same thing. My brother had the same problem and he has the typhoon intake.

thanks, I laid the Edelbrock and the Typhoon side byside, and about the only difference I could see was that the Typhoon just needed some tlc in the matching the ports and removing the roughness in the runners.
Thanks again guys!!

My rpm upper just barely touches the hood liner and causes no probs.

btw......I'm not using a spacer between the intakes and don't use a stb.
