My 98 GT has the Mach 460 stereo system. I wanted to know if there is a way to wire up my pioneer cd player and still use the factory installed amp and woofer? Anyones help would be greatly apresheated.

All my speakers and amps are still factory aside from my CD player. I'm pretty sure you have to get an special aftermarket harness cause of the Mach 460 to fit the headunit.

Metra makes a plug-and-play harness for the mach? I'm surprised.

I prefer the metra harness as it's plug & play no messing with gain and such like the on crutchfield sells. Don't try and figure which harness you need yourself. I linked you to their contact page so shoot an email to the tech support and they have always responded within 24hrs.

I got the one from crutchfield. Sucks messing with "gain" adjustments. Mine is messing up already after a couple years. Otherwise my Alpine works great with all the other components.
