Aftermarket rear control arms...big difference?

If you have problems with wheel hop / axle control these are a good mod. While you are down there changing those out, you should firm up your torque boxes.

The factory suspension parts are pretty much gargabe so any brand that you pick will be an improvement in ride control.

that some good info about boxin. I think I'm gonna go w/ the aftermarket type thou.....don't have the time or shop. Just woundering which ones to go with....so many!

Cheapo nonadjustable granatelli tubulars. $140 for uppers and lowers. Urethane bushings and a spherical upper bushings for the axle. Loud and creaky but great traction. I just hook up and go. Tirespin is rare.

i just ordered a set of Granatelli weight jacker lower control arms for 190$ from musclemotors.com, i already have Granatelli adjustable uppers, def. feel a difference, cant wait for the lowers to go on now, do you guys think i should renforce my torque boxes with the mods i have, i wont be running slicks n e time soon.

I would reinforce them since your already going to be working in that area anyways... It never hurts to know that you can't tear out your rear end.

I say do it, but you don't have to

Sorry, I can't afford everything at once.

225/60-15 pep boys tires? I run Z-rated street tires and still get a little spin in 1st with lower control arms. Looks like you need real tires, lol.

There aren't but so many dollars to go around when you're saving for retirement, the winter (I work summer work), making quarterly IRS payments, maintaining a fleet of 3 aging cars and paying all of the other thousand bills I get every month. Know what I mean?

ive been looking into the steeda pieces myself.but can you guys give me a couple of web sites for those torque box reinforcements?i remember some called battle boxes but i cant remember who made them.

The best one's are the Mega Bite Jr.'s you will not go wrong and you can get the lowers for $215 shipped to your door which is the best price around and you will get them from Summit cheaper if you refernece the motorsportdepot.com website. I also have the HPM double adjustable uppers!
