how comfortable are say recaro's. I don't like the lateral support in my stock seats and they aren't all that comfortable either. I don't have any race shops in town to try them out. I need lumbar support for longer trips, do the race seats hug you pretty good?

Thanks

I have to agree with you. I hate mine also. I'm not trying to but in on your thread, just wanted to say your not alone.

I have been thinking about those corbeau seats. I just don't like the looks of racing seats.

I have a Corbeau GT II in another car. They really hold you(esp. on turns), and have good support, and are great for long trips. They are not cheap. You'll probably have to buy a seat bracket , too. BTW, these seats are for skinny/slim folks only; there's not too much room between the lateral supports.

haha, I'm 6'2", 165 lbs. Sounds good actually that they are that snug.

Ask yourself this:

Do you feel like climing in and out of a racing harness each time you get into your car? After the novelty wears off, it probably turns into an annoying pain in the ass.

I got corbeau VX2000's on the way... I hope they are a little more comfy than my e-speeds were... But people who sat in my car loved my e-speed seats same size as r1's but I had a guy in my car over 6 foot and over 200 pounds and he wasnt liking at all!!! But big boy little seats... Bad combo!
