aftermarket waterpumps

are aftermarket waterpumps worth the money. do they cool better and flow more. anybody have a mechanical aftermarket waterpump and think it cools better with or without the stock radiator and fan

Personally I think they are a waste of money. The stock pump is fine for a daily driver. Even an engine with 400 h.p. or more can get by with a stocker. If racing a bracket car and your looking for less drag then the electric pumps work fine for that setup.
