I have a '66 coupe which I bought with non-stock wheels already on it. They look pretty bad so I'm thinking of getting new ones. It seems like most people get original-style wheels or torq thrust style wheels (like this). Does anyone have a different style of wheel that would look good on a '66 coupe? I'm especially interested in pics of your car with the wheels.

Thanks!

For something different, check out wheels from Chip Foose. Not sure of the applications and they will cost bank. They are incredible. I have 17x8 TTIIs.

I have American Racing Series 23s. I like them, some folks don't, but they shine and i think it accentuates the car.

Those Foose wheels are something... I kinda like this one:

http://www.chipfoose.com/thrustar.aspx

Similar style to TTII but the spokes are more angular, not rounded and bubbled out.

skywalker: got a pic?

Anyone else?

Little more money but

www.billetspecialties.com is what i run

www.cardomain.com/id/blown65

Older style halibrand Sprint wheels look cool too. Different ppl make knock offs of them though.

Dunno if I care for any of the Foose std wheels. Be different if he made custom ones for the car but then your talking big $$$$

Blown.....it kills me everytime I look at your website and think about the fact that will no longer have that dominating blower sticking out the hood of your car....shame on you.....shame on you for making me look at it again.

Sorry...But I like the TTII's and will get them as soon as the budget will allow. A cheaper alternative is the 211's made by eagle alloy....211's ..............but i personally think the TTII's stand out well....if you can afford them.

oooh I c. Yeah...my bad!

I'm actually not sure what they were! They also look like Vintage 45's or TT-D's. I still have them actually...sitting on the side of the house...doing nothing.

I'm kinda partial to my American Racing Hopsters. Unique look (although I'm seeing them more & more), and LESS money than the TT2's eveybody else has...

(also available in smaller diameters for less "bling" )

BobV,

Those rims have a nice look and kind of a morphed 65 Shelby aluminum rim look.....I like.

ya, thats sorta the style I was talking about with the Halibrands. Like I said, there are quite a few knock offs of them.

Ya, but it will have a dominatiing T70 turbo secretly hidden underneath thru really quiet mufflers for big suprises to the Chevy boys.

What's up with the Edelbrock 454s? Are they still available?

Has anyone noticed the 2005 V6 Mustang's wheels look like vintage wheels with the knock offs? They're pretty sweet!
