how do i aim the foglights? i just replaced the bulbs, and now i need help aiming them. can i go by measurements with the bumper and the fog itself on each side? i pointed them at a dumpster from probably 20 ft away and kinda just matched them with the headlight low beams, is that alright? if you look at them for more tahn a glance you can kinda tell they are off, and they point up to the left too much.

you just aim them at something and adjust all the nuts on the back. I did mine on my garage wall while up on ramps also making sure that the beam hits NO CLOSER to the headlight beam than the lights themselves measure apart on the car.....ya know, because that would be aiming upward.

i see no way to measure them from the bumper......all our bumpers are not shaped perfect lol

foglight are suppose to be aimed low , not like headlights , thats why the say dont use your hi beams in the fog because it reflects back on you.

so you mean you measure from the headlight to the floor, then go mark that distance from the top of the headlight beam on the wall down and aim the fogs there? that was really confusing.

They don't really light up anything, and are not true fog lights. Just keep em low and straight and don't worry about it

I turn on my low beams and then aim the fogs to fill in the void right in front of the headlights. I also aim to the sides just a little bit (don't go left of center much, but you can aim the right one to hit the fogline a bit).

That's how I like my fogs aimed anyhow (dependant upon where the voids in the low beams are).

Of course, check with local reg's, as that supercedes any thoughts any of us have.

Good luck.
