Air charge temperature sensor?

Howzit guys have a question for you. I found a vacuum leak at the location of the air charge temp sensor. My question is how do you tighten this sensor or even reach the damn thing? Is there a specialty tool of some sort? Please any one any info would help. Also do you just tighten it or replace the whole sensor?

You can use a large wrench, kinda tricky but you can get in there. They do have sockets made to fit over the sensor, or you can use a large crows foot wrench.

If it it leaking through the body of the sensor then it needs to be replaced, if it is leaking through the threads you can try to re-seal it with Permatex or liquid teflon.

I miss those Hawaiian beaches, just about time for the big waves to start rolling in, right?

Mahalo Rick91GT. I ordered the new part and will try to remove it with a deep socket.

This year we are not having really big surf but more wind and rain for the winter months. Last year was the freak year for really consistent big surf. Thanks again for the help Aloha.

Got it done today with a 1" deep socket, a universal joint and a long extension. Come to find the sensor was not the vacuum leak but it was shot to hell.

We had a lot of fun up at Sunset beach, the North Shore was a interesting place with the large waves.
