You can use a large wrench, kinda tricky but you can get in there. They do have sockets made to fit over the sensor, or you can use a large crows foot wrench.
If it it leaking through the body of the sensor then it needs to be replaced, if it is leaking through the threads you can try to re-seal it with Permatex or liquid teflon.

Mahalo Rick91GT. I ordered the new part and will try to remove it with a deep socket.
This year we are not having really big surf but more wind and rain for the winter months. Last year was the freak year for really consistent big surf. Thanks again for the help Aloha.
